Yum-Peanut Squares

Peanut squares are one of my favorites. I break each square into a smaller piece. They are delicious on peppermint patties or just plain. I've been known to nibble on them in the morning almost like breakfast once I start I can't stop, they're so good. Highly recommend this yummy treat.

I buy these for a friend who gives them to her vet for Christmas. He told her these were the vest Old Fashioned Peanut Squares he has ever had. He absolutely loves them and will only eat Virginia Diner's Old Fashioned Peanut Squares.

These are an awesome treat. They are small and packed with flavor. They certainly aren't potato chips, but you can't just have one or two. I have to keep them in a hard-to-reach area, or they'd be gone in one sitting. Makes me wonder: How can something this good be legal?

These are the closest thing to Mr. Peanut Peanut block candy bar , that doesn't exist anymore. Light and crunchy and packed with peanuts. Virginia Diner peanuts are much better quality than the ones used in the bars.

In the early 70's there was a delicious peanut candy that was made in small squares and sold in a red tin. It was a heavenly, slightly sweet, slightly salty confection. These are just like that. Incredibly fresh and just the right bite! Do not keep the canister in your TV Room ... unless you ordered more than one!

Having grown up in Virginia, I'm familiar with all the wonderful things that can be made with peanuts. Since I was a kid, I've particularly loved peanut candy. These peanut squares have a wonderfully rich flavor that never grows old. They're also one of the many things I associate with fall, when kitchens are all redolent with wonderful smells. Peanut squares are just the thing to tide you over while you wait for the turkey and ham to get done.

These two 18 ounce containers contain the best peanut squares I have ever eaten. They are consistently good as always. I like the quantity of peanuts you use that isn't overwhelmed by the sweet candy holding them together in the square. This means that I can actually taster the great peanuts. Great product. Please keep it up.

The Old-fashioned Peanut Squares are delicious, but they are expensive and the shipping costs are almost as much as the squares. Much of that is because of the weight of the container. I think the squares will be a once-a-year thing for me -- perhaps on my birthday.

Virginia Diner is a stop every year on the way to OBX. Absolutely love their variety of nusts and candy....especially turtles with pecans! My husband and son LOVE the butter roasted peanuts. I send all my brothers the salted peanuts as my mom always had them out at our cottage in OBX. Good food...great memories
